IGU Result 2025

Several students appeared for exams in different programs, such as B.A., B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, MCA, M.Com, and others. The university has released the results of the candidates who appeared for semester examinations in different programs.

The official IGU website now has the results for all courses. Students can check their results by the course and semester they took the exam for.

How To Check IGU Result 2025?

If you have taken any exams at Indira Gandhi University, you can now check your results. Just follow these steps to check your examination results online:

Step 1 – First, visit the official website for IGU exams and results at https://igu1.ucanapply.com/smartexam/public/.

Step 2 – Click on the Result option on the homepage tab.

Step 3 – From the box, select your Session to search results.

Step 4 – After selecting your session, find the list of results and check your latest result.

A page will open with a PDF file. From this file, check your name and score. Later, you will receive a scorecard from the university detailing the marks you gained in the semester. This mark sheet may come via your college.

IGU Marking System 2025

Whether it's regular education at IGU or another stream, the university runs two marking schemes. There are two marking schemes. One is the semester-based scheme, which is mainly yearly. The other is the Choice-Based Credit System. This system was introduced by the university in 2016.

Under the semester-based marking scheme, students must score 40% individually in theory and practical papers to pass. If a student fails a subject, they must appear for a re-exam in the corresponding semester. For example, if a student fails in the 1st semester, they will retake the exam in November–December. This is when the 1st, 3rd, and 5th semester exams take place.

For the Choice-Based Credit System, even if a student fails an odd semester exam, they may proceed to the even semester. Promotion from 1st year to 2nd year requires a combined 50% in both 1st and 2nd semesters.

Students can select a marking system depending on their preferences and program structure.
